AWDA (عودة): Return & Hope 🍉

Marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, this event was a powerful moment of reflection and connection. We explored the Right of Return through stories, law, and lived experience.

Featuring Palestinian voices from the West Bank, Baha from Bethlehem, and Dr. Fauziah Hassan (Chairperson, APWCQ), the session delved into the deep meaning of Awda (Return) not just as a political right, but as a daily practice of memory and hope.

Key themes explored:

  • 🌿 Personal accounts of displacement, resilience, and connection
  • 🏡 Heritage, land, and living memory as evidence of continuity
  • 🌏 Building meaningful regional solidarity beyond borders

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special gathering.
